Academic Support
We understand there are times in which students do not understand what they are being taught, which can leave them feeling confused, frustrated and makes them want to give up. We provide services and resources that are designed to help students succeed in their academic pursuits. Our goal is to enhance students’ learning and help them achieve their academic goals. We offer the following supports:
- IEP/504 Support – Students with disabilities often require additional support in the classroom to ensure their academic success. For these students, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans are crucial tools that provide them with the necessary accommodations and modifications. These plans are designed to address the unique needs of each student and provide a roadmap for their educational journey. We review and offer suggestions to parents and students on the best accommendations and modifications based on the need of the child.
- Tutoring – offered in one-on-one or small group sessions with a tutor who helps students understand difficult concepts, review material, and improve their study skills
