Mental Health Community Assistance
The Mental Health Community Assistance Program
We are pleased to introduce the Mental Health Community Assistance (MHCA) Program, a new, around-the-clock resource designed to support the mental health and wellness needs of individuals, families, and organizations within our community. Accessible 24/7 through www.mhcaprogram.org, the MHCA Program was developed to bridge the gap between those in need and the support systems that can serve them best.
The MHCA Program brings together a network of local mental health professionals, agencies, and supportive businesses to create a connected and responsive platform for care. Whether someone is facing a moment of crisis or simply needs guidance and referrals, MHCA offers immediate access to help, information, and resources that are compassionate, confidential, and community-centered.
One of the key strengths of the MHCA Program is its commitment to accessibility. No matter the time of day, individuals can reach out for support and find direction from trusted local partners. The platform includes educational tools, self-help resources, and referral pathways to ensure that everyone has a place to turn when they need it most.
To help you better understand how MHCA can serve your organization or community group, we’re hosting a brief overview session on Monday, August 25th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. This session will highlight program features, partnership opportunities, and how your team can connect with and support the broader network.
If you are interested in attending the session, please send a short email to info@apomcommunitysupport.org, including your name and any area(s) of interest for your organization. We look forward to collaborating with you in building a stronger, more resilient community together.

Strengthening our Relationships
Caring for our mental health strengthens our relationships with others. When we take the time to address our emotional needs, we become better equipped to communicate effectively and empathize with those around us. Healthy mental states foster patience, understanding, and the ability to manage conflicts constructively, which are key components of meaningful connections. Additionally, seeking help when needed demonstrates strength and encourages others to do the same. The MHCA program helps us prioritize our mental health and improve our well-being but also creates a positive ripple effect that enhances the lives of those we care about.
Fully Balanced Lifestyle
Ultimately, taking care of our mental health allows us to live life to its fullest potential. When our minds are balanced and at ease, we can pursue our passions, set and achieve goals, and find joy in everyday experiences. Mental health care includes small daily habits, like practicing mindfulness, working towards career goals, or setting boundaries, all of which contribute to long-term happiness. Investing in mental well-being is an act of self-love that helps us thrive and adapt to life’s challenges with grace. The MHCA program helps us nurture our mental health, as we honor our intrinsic worth and pave the way for a brighter and more fulfilling future.
Program Cost & Fees
The MHCA program offers an affordable way to access a wide range of mental health and wellness courses in addition to number of Workforce & Development Courses. The total cost to access all courses within the program is $50.00 per month for individuals, $75.00 per month for two people, $100.00 per month for a family of three, and $120.00 per month for families of four or more. We proudly accept commercial and Medicaid insurance, private-pay options, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) through various companies.
For those using insurance, each participant must be covered under their policy and attend at least two courses per month per person, which can be in-person or virtual. Attendance is carefully verified to ensure everyone benefits fully from the program. Your well-being is our priority, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. 💙
