Job Summary
As an Office Administrator Intern, you will support our office team with essential tasks that help keep our program operations running smoothly. From assisting with filing and organizing documents to managing communications and supporting the administrative team, you will play an active role in our daily activities. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Office Management: Help organize files, maintain office supplies, and support the team with day-to-day tasks.
- Support Communications: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and company systems, ensuring up-to-date and organized information.
- Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with dispatch, HR, and logistics teams to provide administrative support as needed.
- Special Projects: Participate in various projects and tasks, gaining a broad understanding of office operations within the trucking industry.
Qualifications
- Currently Enrolled in a college program related to Business, Administration, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Services, Human Services, Counseling or a similar field.
- Strong Communication Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor, with good verbal and written communication.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and pay attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
- Team-Oriented: Willingness to collaborate, learn, and help out wherever needed.
